About the book
Beneath Stormmount, the Bone-Sworn cult raises an army of the dead. Captain Dregner Relk knows a direct assault is suicide, so he devises a plan that will shatter the trust of his most loyal soldier.
He sends Kokos into the catacombs on a final rescue mission while he prepares the flood. If Kokos isn’t out by moon’s zenith, Dregner will open the sluice gates and drown them all—cultists, captives, and rescuers alike.
To defeat the enemy, Dregner must harden his heart for the unforgivable command that will birth the legend of the Butcher.
